With our name ‘House of Snow’ I was feeling the pressure with the Christmas window display. That and a degree in costume, I wanted to create something dreamy and spectacular even though our window isn’t the biggest. Of course it had to center around SNOW after all it is in the title.
So here it is,
I took inspiration from the a childhood classic book ‘The Secret Garden’ by Frances Hodgson Burnett. I think every child dreams of the swing in the Secret Garden, so I took this and placed it into a snowy setting.
There was only one dress that could possibly take center stage on the swing and that was the ‘Dixie’ by Jenny Packham. With its hundred of silver diamante’s and sequins, it is the perfect dress for this snowy scene.
To finish the bridal look, a headpiece from the fabulous Miss Clemmie Bridal Accessories which complements with its silver tone perfectly – all available in store.
