House of Snow is my pride and joy and I truly believe our boutique is special, it’s not just a boutique, it’s something far more.
I knew I wanted to open a bridal shop from around the age of 14, but first I went on to gain a First Class B.A Honours degree from London College of fashion. After a career designing and making costumes for television and theatre in the UK and USA, my passion, artistic flare and love of the beautiful, unsurprisingly led me back to bridal wear.
I knew when opening House of Snow that I wanted it to be one of the Industry’s leading bridal boutiques and this continues to be my goal day in and day out. Ensuring we provide outstanding customer service and providing each of our brides with an unforgettable experience is what keeps our drive.
Winning Best New Bridal Retailer was one of the proudest moments of my life, and we then went on to win the Best Bridal Retailer East of England after only being open two years. Both accolades were a dream come true and to see all that hard work paying off.

From Jess’s very first day she instantly became an integral part of the House of Snow team and we love her dearly. Jess brings the laughter to the boutique with her dry sense of humour, so if you’re lucky enough to have Jess as your stylist, you are in for a fun appointment. With a background in retail and personal styling she was the perfect fit for the boutique, putting all her skills to the test.

It’s like she’s always been here, the queen of organisation, bringing a very calming presence to the boutique. From the moment you meet Tash you will feel like you have known her for years, she puts you instantly at ease with her calming ways. No request is too much, she always goes to the extreme to ensure our brides have the best possible experience, and nothing is too much trouble for our wonderful Tash.
“I can honestly say this is the best job I have ever had! I love meeting all the lovely brides and working alongside this wonderful team of women, I feel truly lucky to call this work. Not to mention the fun we have trying on all the dresses, I will never turn down a chance to play dress up in our downtime!”

She loves working in the bridal industry and our brides so wanted her to continue to work at House of Snow although now she has a more behind the scenes roll, she is the queen of admin. If you are lucky enough to see her in the boutique she will be ensuring your bride tribe are well looked after during your appointment or getting you booked in. She is the most organised person I know and she keeps House of Snow organised too.

But I found I really loved my time in the boutique, meeting all the brides and their families, it’s such a happy place. Now Harriet has a team I am mainly in the back office doing the admin but I still love seeing the brides when I work the occasional day in the shop. It is such a happy environment and having just had Harriet’s’ wedding we know first-hand what everyone is feeling”.
