We have exciting news to share with you all!
Eliza Jane Howell is coming to our beautiful boutique. Showcasing her stunning collection of unique vintage inspired bridal gowns. When Eliza Jane Howell came to us and asked if we would like to host a pop up event, we were absolutely over the moon as we have loved this designer for years, so to now have a trunk show, we cant wait to share them with our brides.
The all-important date for your diary, for ONE weekend only, will be held on Saturday 23rd February – Sunday 24th February. Booking an appointment is necessary, to ensure you have your personal 1&1 appointment with one of our fabulous bridal stylists.
About the designer herself:
Eliza Jane Howell is designed by Gill Harvey, a fashion graduate of the Royal College of Art in London. Gill Harvey first gained international success with her Medici Knitwear collection.
Eliza Jane Howell gowns are all hand beaded and sometimes come with extra embellishments of hand embroidery. Each dress is individually made by combining exquisite traditional and modern beading techniques and patterns. It’s this truly stunning blend of old and new that makes Eliza Jane Howell dress truly unique and an heirloom piece to be passed to the next generation. Eliza Jane Howell was also voted Best Bridal Designer for the second year in a row in 2017!
Gill Harvey named her bridal brand Eliza Jane Howell after her grandmother, who was also fashion designer. So no wonder we absolutely adore Gill’s collection not only for our outstanding eye for detail and vintage inspired looks, but she also has a deeper meaning behind her name. Like us House of Snow boutique is named after Harriet’s dearly loved grandparents Dennis & Betty Snow who were married for an outstanding 66 years. We treat this as a wonderful omen for the boutique & all you beautiful brides to be.
About the new collection:
The new 2019 collection by Eliza Jane Howell known as ‘The Grand Voyage’, is inspired by the paintings and fabrics that were found in the 17th & 18th century. During this time, it was custom for the sons and daughters of the gentry to go on the Grand Tour.
